Canning & Clyde

Exercise can be fun when you're social isolating or distancing

Walking

We are allowed one outside exercise a day. We have to maintain a 2 metre distance from anyone not in our household. Most people are observing this. It’s generally easy to keep the 2 metre distance.

Local parks: Lloyd Park, Addiscombe Railway Park, Brickfield Meadow. Entrances to these can be narrow. It’s easier to avoid people by walking round the streets.

Good fun!   https://www.ceroc.com/103/dance-in-your-pants

Dance school Ceroc have venues all over the UK teaching salsa, ballroom dancing, tango, street dance, zouk and jive among others. Their classes are going virtual for now with their 'Dance in your pants' campaign, which will see them uploading new videos each day for people at home to practice, either alone or with a partner.

All content is free, but those who are able to are encouraged to donate the cost of a class to their local dance operator - not necessarily a Ceroc venue, but any other dance school to help keep them in business.

Last but not least – housework!

Oh yes!
